Retirement Gift

After 37 years of dedication to children and education, this teacher announced her retirement. This project was a gift by her colleagues fondly honoring her commitment. The project was made of 1-1/2″ thick Maple. The carving was more than 1/2″ deep, bringing the teacher right out to the viewer. V-carved text with name and dates were posed to the side. Hand painted along with a semi-gloss wood finish. Leaving the project naturally finished was also and option. Overall dimension were 16″x12″.
